C. S. Lewis said, “Over the lives of some people at the end of life’s journey could be written the words, ‘Fine performance, but you missed the whole point.’” One of the major reasons for this sad epitaph is that making a living becomes more important than making a life. So much of our time is spent in wheeling and dealing, and buying and selling, that some of the most important things in life are completely neglected. In order to keep our lives from being just making a living, we need to meet the God who gave us life. Only He has the answers and can impart the inward strength and power to make a life pleasing to God and satisfying and fulfilling to the individual.
